To say this album was anticipated would be an understatement. After favorable reviews by internet sources, this Surrey brother-duo are in high demand. Boasting guest spots by some of UK's best and brightest vocalists, "Settle" may be the rare case of actually deserving the hype they have received. The guest roll call features contempo-Sade singer Jesse Ware, vocalist soul-dier Sam Smith, production duo AlunaGeorge (TriAngle label artists), and many others that solidify this as a gold-studded, smash of a debut. With nods to both Kelis (see "Second Chance") and Slum Village (on "Grab Her!") this album covers a lot of ground. From its dubstep core and house leanings "Settle" is destined to make an impression with those consumed by Burial mixes, Basement Jaxx or enamored with London based producer SBTRKT. pixar films are generally known for going straight for the feels, so it shouldn't surprise anyone that when they made a movie specifically about feelings, it turns out to be a FIVE-STAR MOVIE. not only is this super-fun for kids, it's also generally lauded by the psychological community for being an accurate breakdown of mental processes and a healthy perspective of how your brain copes with trauma. so, not only is this movie GOOD, it's good FOR you. chicken soup for the mind and heart. <3
