Anyone that's been frequenting record stores over the past 40 years or so has seen a Mort Garson record & possibly didn't even know it. He's most famous for his 12 album series of albums influenced by the Zodiac signs & the cult synthesizer records "Black Mass Lucifer", "Ataraxia" & the record you're holding in your hand. Inspired by his wife's green thumb, Garson was inspired to make a record to encourage her plants to grow. A fun tidbit, when it came out this record was given to customers when they bought particular plants at a store in LA or if you bought a certain mattress at Sears! Similar to Eno's ambient music & Erik Satie's "furniture music", Garson's Moog pieces create a wonderful atmosphere & the post-hippie concept of making music for plants & the environment is something that seems even more important now than in 1976. The original is one of the most requested records at our shops & we're incredibly excited to be able to stock this reissue. RECOMMENDED!

This is the one with Bill Bruford from King Crimson taking some of the drum duties! this record is as old as Star Wars! After the departure of Gabriel, Phil Collins proved himself to be a competent if even better showman than Gabriel with a less theatrical streamlined Genesis. fav period of some fans!

the title track is quite a happy little number. almost a Beatles-esque pop song. A nice surprise here. Why wasn't THIS song a top 40 hit??
