Reckless Records: The Label

In the late 80’s & early 90’s, Reckless Records was not just a store but a label as well. The label released records by Soft Machine, Mu, The Bevis Frond & The Crazy World of Arthur Brown to name a few.  In 2014 the label was re-launched with a CD compilation for the group Brainiac 5, a late 70’s London post-punk/art-rock group that has reformed in the last few years. The label has seen a flurry of activity as of late with the latest CD from Brainiac 5 “We’re Ready”, an LP issue of a never released album by the great 70’s Nottingham power pop band  THE FAVOURITES called “New Feeling” & a new album from the UK psych rock band THE GREEN RAY that features ex-members of the 70’s group HELP YOURSELF.

You can find all of the recent Reckless releases at any our locations or through reckless.com
