A collaboration between Chicagoan (and Reckless lifer!) Matt Jencik & Colorado's Madeline Johnston aka MIDWIFE. Jencik has been making music since the early 90s in bands like HURL, DON CAB, IMPLODES, SLINT & PAPA M live bands. Midwife started in Denver about a decade ago & her brand of ghostly shoegaze/slow core is a store favorite. Low & slow, psychedelic shoegaze with hints of early 4AD, FLYING SAUCER ATTACK & the duos other projects.
