Ethel Cain, the altar ego of Hayden Anhednia has been one of the most talked about artists in the last 5 years or so & this 2025 album will supposedly be the last hurrah for Ethel. Anhednia released the surprisingly experimental "Perverts" digitally earlier this year & this one sits sort of in the middle of that & "The Preacher's Daughter." We love Hayden's take on modern Americana & her "Phoebe Bridgers on ludes" songwriting style. Fans of Lana Del Rey, MIDWIFE, Emma Ruth Rundle will love this. RECOMMENDED.
